This is the route for riders who want a real day on a quad. You gear up in the morning just outside Ouarzazate and start with a full safety briefing, then spend the day on gravel paths, rocky plateaus, riverbeds and old tracks between villages.
The day brings together what the shorter routes do one at a time: the clay ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, the fortress set built for Kingdom of Heaven and the palm valley of Fint. Each stop changes the mood, from history to cinema to village life.

Ait Ben Haddou
Ride wild tracks to the fortified ksar seen in Gladiator, Game of Thrones and The Mummy, then walk its lanes and climb to the top for the view.

Continue to the site where the battles of Kingdom of Heaven were staged, a photo stop surrounded by open desert.
Fint oasis
In the afternoon head south to the oasis between the mountains, with palm trees, running water and small Berber villages, and a mint tea with locals before the ride back.
Where it happens
The route covers a wide loop of desert, plateaus and valleys around Ouarzazate, from Ait Ben Haddou to the filming site and south to the Fint oasis. The terrain changes through the day, from hard tracks to loose gravel and riverbeds.
Who it suits
A full day on a quad is the most demanding of our rides, so it suits people who are comfortable spending several hours driving on rough ground. You do not need previous experience: the day starts with a safety briefing and the guide adapts the pace to the group. Groups of 1 to 20 can ride together. Before you ride
- Your guide gives a safety briefing and rides with the group the whole time.
- A helmet and safety equipment are provided; wear closed shoes and clothes you do not mind getting dusty.
- Tell us about age, health or riding experience in your request so the team can advise you.
- The meeting or pickup point and time are confirmed with your reservation.
- Please arrive about 15 minutes before departure for the briefing and your equipment.
- Rides start and finish at the agency in Ouarzazate unless another arrangement is agreed.
- Book at least 2 to 3 hours before the time you would like to leave, subject to availability.
- A private ride for your group only, with its own guide, can be arranged on request.
- Riding with a guide is required. You still have room to ride freely within the guide's safety rules.
- Group pricing may be possible for several quads, depending on group size and the models you choose.
