Here you will find what personal information Ouarzazate Tours gathers on this website, what we do with it, who it is shared with and how you can control it. The policy applies to our booking and contact forms, our own visit counting, cookies and the optional measurement tags.

What we collect
A booking request or a message gives us the details you enter:
- Name and email address
- Phone number, or the number you use on WhatsApp
- Chosen activity or trip, preferred date and group size
- Selected options and anything you write to us
- Which language version of the site you were on
- Security information such as a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address, which helps us block spam and duplicate sending
Why we use it
This information lets us reply to you, confirm and arrange your activity, comply with the law and protect the website and its forms against misuse. Your data is never sold.
Our own visitor statistics
Visits are counted by a statistics tool that runs on our own server. It sets no cookie and keeps nothing that identifies you. Unique visitors are estimated with an anonymous code built from your IP address and browser that is replaced each day, and the IP address itself is never saved.
Optional analytics and advertising tools
If we switch them on, Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager help us see how people move through the site, Google Ads conversion measurement tells us which adverts bring booking requests, and the Meta Pixel does the same for Meta platforms. These services place cookies and pass data to Google and Meta.
Nothing from them runs until you press Accept in the cookie banner. If you decline, they stay off. The Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page lets you revisit your decision whenever you like.
Who receives your data
The Ouarzazate Tours team handles your information. Service providers act for us only so the site can work: Hostinger hosts the website and our email provider carries the messages sent from the forms. If you accept the optional tools, Google and Meta receive what those tools record. Some of these providers may store or process data outside Morocco.
Conversations with us on WhatsApp pass through WhatsApp, an outside service that applies its own privacy policy. We recommend reading it before you write to us there.
How long we keep it
Unless the law requires a longer period, booking requests and messages stay with us while we deal with them and for a maximum of 3 years after we were last in touch. Security information is deleted once it is no longer needed to protect the forms.
Your rights
Moroccan Law No. 09-08, which protects individuals when their personal data is processed, lets you see the information we hold about you, have it corrected, and object to its use when you have legitimate grounds.
Visitors from the European Union may, where the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, also ask for erasure or restriction of their data and withdraw consent. Email contact@ouarzazatetours.com to make any of these requests.
Security
Only the Ouarzazate Tours team can open booking requests, inside a password protected administration area. Incoming form submissions are screened to keep out spam and abuse.
Changes to this policy
If our services or the rules change, this policy will be revised, and the revision date shown at the top of this page will change with it.
