Fint Oasis by Quad, Half Day: More Time in the Hidden Valley

The unhurried version of the Fint ride: a half day on the desert plateaus and in the oasis, with time to explore further, stop for photos and share mint tea.

  • Duration: Half day
  • Destination: Fint oasis, south of Ouarzazate
  • Group size: 1 to 20

If three hours feels short, this is the Fint ride to choose. You set off from the agency in Ouarzazate, cross the stony plateaus south of the city and keep riding until the valley of date palms, running water and earthen villages opens below you.

The extra time is spent in the oasis rather than on the road. Your guide takes you further along the valley and its villages, you stop wherever the light is good for photos, and you sit down for mint tea with local people before the ride back over the plateaus.

Choose your quad

  • Can-Am Renegade 570 570cc, high performance for confident riders 145 USDper quad

Safety briefing and equipment at the agency, then out onto the desert tracks south of the city.

  3. Return

Back over the plateaus to the agency in Ouarzazate.

Where it happens

Fint lies in a valley about 12 km south of Ouarzazate. The tracks there cross arid plateaus and dry riverbeds; in the oasis itself you ride past palm groves, gardens and small villages along the river.

Who it suits

Each rider steers their own quad, so it suits people who want to drive rather than sit back. First timers are welcome: the guide adjusts the route and the speed to the group, and experienced riders get more open ground. Groups of 1 to 20 can ride together. If anyone in your group is young, has a health condition or is pregnant, tell us when you send the request so we can confirm the ride is suitable.
