Of all our routes, this is the one horses are made for. After desert trails and rocky ground, you follow old paths down into the Fint valley, where the horses splash through the river between palm groves.
Traditional Berber villages line the oasis, and at the pace of a horse you pass close to gardens and houses where daily life carries on around you.
In the oasis you take a calm break and share mint tea with local people before riding back to Ouarzazate.

Fint lies about 12 km south of Ouarzazate, in a valley hidden between mountains. The ride crosses desert trails and rocky landscapes, then palm groves and the river itself.

Riding at walking pace with a calm horse suits people who prefer quiet to engines, including riders who have never been in a saddle. Your horse is matched to your experience and the guide sets a pace the whole group is comfortable with. Groups of 1 to 20 can ride together.
