Buggy Drive to the Kingdom of Heaven Film Set: 1 Hour
One hour at the wheel of an off road buggy, crossing open desert to the fortress where Kingdom of Heaven filmed its battles.
A buggy feels more like driving a car than riding a bike: you sit low, belt in, and hold a steering wheel, with a passenger beside you if you want to share it. After a quick introduction to the controls, you follow your guide out of Ouarzazate onto the desert.
The terrain has enough rough patches and rocky rises to show what the buggy can do, and wide open stretches where you can feel the power. The drive ends at the walls of the fortress built for the medieval battle scenes of Kingdom of Heaven.
You stop at the set for photos and for the stories your guide tells about the film and the region, then drive back to Ouarzazate.
Your buggy
- Can-Am Maverick 1000R 1000cc, powerful and comfortable, for 2 to 4 people 100 USDper buggy

- The Kingdom of Heaven fortress set
- Room for a passenger beside you

Where it happens
The drive stays on the desert and rocky hills near Ouarzazate around the filming location, with hard tracks, gravel and short climbs and a clear view over the plain.
Who it suits
A buggy is shared side by side, which makes it a good choice for couples, friends or a parent and child who want to share the drive. Beginners are welcome: the guide sets the pace and the route for the group, and confident drivers get room to use the extra power. Groups of 1 to 20 are possible. Tell us about ages, health conditions or pregnancy in your request so we can confirm that the drive suits everyone.
